REALM Secondary Charter Schools Proposed to Board of Education

Note: The Board has recieved a letter withdrawing this application, with the expectation that it will return to the Board in the months ahead. The Board of Education has received two REALM Charter School proposals for secondary Education. The documents, as well as a Charter School Authorizations Practical Checklist provided by legal experts to help understand the process as well as the responsibilities of the Petitioner and the Board:

School Lunch Update: Pay for Meals On-line

You can pre-pay for meals using a new on-line credit card system, www.myschoolbucks.com or by sending a check made out to BUSD Child Nutrition Services to school with your student. Your child’s participation will help ensure our ability to continue offering this wonderful program. Together we can support healthy food choices at school and home, and raise a new generation of healthier and better educated young people.

Berkeley Aquatic Taskforce

The School District and City of Berkeley are cooperatively working with an aquatics task-force to discuss public pools in Berkeley. The process is being run by the City of Berkeley and we provide this link to the City's informational site for interested citizens. click here
